Compiling is necessary packages must be installed, providing:
       gcc-3.3  kernel-source-2.6.3-7mdk

Then try using the Intel-537ep package provided at:
  http://phep2.technion.ac.il/linmodems/packages/intel/Philippe.Vouters/

Unfortunately, the maintainer is not active.
But this is your only tryout option.
