I ran scanModem as root the first time.

A large expected mid-section of ModemData.txt is missing.
Please run
$ bash -x ./scanModem 2>&1  | tee andrews Then $ gzip andrews and send it to me the andrews.gz so i can identify the problem.

Also do:
$ lspci
$ lspci -nv
and send these outputs to the List.
For an AMR modem, this will be sufficient.

Also run
$ sudo ./scanModem
and see it there is more output to ModemData.txt
