I'm newbie to Linux. I just installed ubuntu 7.04 in my laptop 2 weeks ago. No I try to connect to internet through dial up but I have this problem I have installed slmodemd and tested It seem OK but when I tried to dial I got message NO CARRIER. Please advice to solve this problem.
