Interesting statistics

The linmodems.technion.ac.il statistics sheet for Aug 2007,
http://phep2.technion.ac.il/goldberg/webalizer/usage_200708.html ,
is rather interesting: unprecedented downloads, other indexes precedented by July 2007 only. Is this a sign that dial up activity is not fading away as fast as predicted in favor of DSL?
One report in particular astonished me:
" Top 10 of 39759 Total Sites By KBytes" , with a very small number of visits, one of unknown origin 217.219.253.6 , one in the UK (Rutherford Lab !), one in the Domenican Republic, one in Russia, the others in Bresil, Taiwan and Pakistan. Seldom updated replica?
