Jorge Read Conexant.txt, From http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hcf/full/downloads-ubuntu-x86.php download the hcfpcimodem_1.13full_k2.6.20_16_386_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip Under Linux unpack with $ unzip hcf*.zip Install with $ dpkg -i hcf*.deb Afterwards the modem should be detected by: $ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf With $ sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf remove the ; and on those lines replace the <xxxx> placeholders with your dialout info.
