Hello
Thanks for your reply, but I have deleted *nothing* from Modemdata.txt
(why
would I do that anyway?)
I ran it again and I still get this, so I can only guess that there must
be
something wrong with the script itself:
=== Finished modem firmware and bootup diagnostics section. ===
=== Next deducing cogent software ===
For candidate modem in PCI bus: 00:14.6
Primary PCI_id
Support type needed or chipset:
...I did however forget to include the data that I got from WinXP:
Device manager
CXT Connexant
diagnostics tab
Hardware ID PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4378&SUBSYS_30A4103C&REV_02
ATQ0V1E0 - OK
AT+GMM - +GMM: AC97 Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP
AT+FCLASS=? - 0,1
AT#CLS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI? - +GCI: 100
AT+GCI=? - +GCI: (00,01,02,03,04,05...)
ATI1 - 255
ATI2 - OK
ATI3 - SoftK56V_B2.1_V7.33.00.51
ATI4 - AC97 Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP
ATI5 - 256
ATI6 - SoftK56
CModem Version 12
Rksample Version 342
ATI7 - 255
However, I also desire to know why I was not able to compile slmodem and
why
the precompiled slamr would not insert into my kernel.
Thanks
