Gaincarlo, The setup sequence under Ubuntu $ sudo modprobe martian_dev Get martian_modem help with: $ martian_modem --help $ martian_modem --info countries which informs for you to use $ martian_modem --country=it The modem should now be active. Test with: $ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf which should find the modem. Edit in personal information with: $ sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf replacing the <xxxx> with your personal information and adding a line: Carrier Check = no Then try a dialout with: $ sudo wvdial.
