Dear all,
I have installed an Agere Modem supported by the
martian driver. It is working nicely with
slax-6.0.0rc3, but it is failing to connect with
Fedora 7.
00:0a.0 Communication controller: Agere Systems LT
WinModem (rev 02)
I used a little trick on Slax since it does not have
wvdial, and there is no /dev/ttySM0, I did an
root@slax:~# ln -s /dev/ttySM0 /dev/ttySL0
and used ttySL0 since I am familiar with it on
smartlink modems that I have.
Here is the report for martian on slax

However, for fedora and wvdial. It is not connecting.
