Fernando,
For your System CPU=x86_64, Fedora Core release 6 (Zod) Kernel2.6.20-1.2944.fc6
with modem: Class 0403: 8086:27d8 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G Primary PCI_id 8086:27d8 Subsystem PCI_id 1025:0092 Softmodem codec or Vendor from diagnostics: 11c1, an AgereSystems type
	/proc/asound/pcm-------------------------------00-06: Si3054 Modem : Si3054 Modem : playback 1 : capture 100-02: ALC883 Analog : ALC883 Analog : capture 200-00: ALC883 Analog : ALC883 Analog : playback 1 : capture 2
	/proc/asound/card0/codec#1-------------------------------Codec: Generic 11c1 Si3054Address: 1Vendor Id: 0x11c13026
Try doing:# slmodemd -c BRAZIL --alsa hw:0,6# wvdialconf wvtestshould find the modem.
Do an edit:# gedit wvtestreplacing the < > blocks with your persona info, and adding a line:Carrier Check = no
Then try a dialout with;# wvdial --config wvtest
