Sadly there is as yet no Linux support for the AgereSystems/LSI_Inc chip
Vendor ID 0x11c11040.  See my message

files. They have been copied and packed into a file:
Modem/11c1.tgz

The creation of the device /dev/ttySL0 does not imply
that the slmodemd will work. You will have to try to
connect to an ISP to verify that it works.
