Thank you very much for your answer. I tried without the commas in the
dial string, but with no avail.
Note that I'm also getting (in /var/log/messages)
slmodemd: error: cannot setup hw params for playback: Invalid argument
hda-intel: invalid format_val, rate=9600, ch=1, format=2
and wvdial outputs a line
Cannot get information for serial port.
Any other thoughts?
