Looks like some fix will be necessary from the maintainers.  Do
$ su  - root
# slmodemd  -c GERMANY --alsa --debug=2 --log  hw:0,6
and try the dialout.
Send the resultant log to us an to slmodemd maintainer  "Sasha
Khapyorsky" <sashakh@xxxxxxxxx>
