Indeed you have subversion 2, not 1, of kernel 2.4.27, but in your place
I would try the file above, if you didn't.

Hello!
I'm quite new to linux and I'm trying to install a Lucent Tech modem in a
Debian 3.1 kernel 2.4.27-2-386. I think that kernel headers were installed
ok (I simply did an apt-get install from my distro cd sets).
But I'm getting an error that I wasn't able to solve (I attached the
BLDrecord.txt to this message).
For the results ./build_module I wonder if I need a previous version of
gcc. My Debian has gcc 3.3.5... Or it might be another cause for this
problem.

any other way to get that modem working with my Debian box.
