Help I am trying to switch over to SuSe 10.2 Linux and I need some help getting my modem configured and working. In the install the OS found the modem but refused to tell me the information I need in order to configure it. I am very new to Linux and have no clue as to the translation of terms between windows and Linux so I am trying to get a step by step set up guide to get this damn windows remnant working. I have elected to use the KDE Desktop set up and if you can help that will be fantastic; if not if you can at least point me in the right direction to get that information would also be very helpful. In the body of this email you will find the scan modem data file that was requested on the help page http://132.68.73.235/linmodems/index.html#scanModem I need to get this machine on line so any instruction you all can give will be a big help. Locally I can not find a Linux help and reference book any newer than 2002 and there appears to be many advances since then.

Thank you,
Rusty
