ltmodem-2.6-**** will not work for kernels > 2.6.15. You should now try the martian driver from
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/kernel-2.6/martian/
or
http://www.barrelsoutofbond.org/downloads/martian/

Read the Readme.txt and you should be on your way.

Best Regards,

Antonio

Subject: installing ltmodem-2.6-alk-8 with kernel 2.6.17

Hello List!

I try to install ltmodem-2.6-alk-8 on my Debian Etch system that has
kernel 2.6.17.

I get error messages:

------------------------->
make -C /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.17

Is there a solution for this?

I appreciate any advices!

P.S.: Happy New Year! :)
