Linux Advanced Routing and Traffic Control

clean example:

azazel mfw # iptables -t mangle -L FORWARD -vnx | grep 10.0.1.9 && date
   11330  9326433 MARK       all  --  eth0   *       0.0.0.0/0
10.0.1.9            MARK set 0x5091
pon sie  9 20:14:52 CEST 2004
azazel mfw # iptables -t mangle -L FORWARD -vnx | grep 10.0.1.9 && date
   11443  9431509 MARK       all  --  eth0   *       0.0.0.0/0
10.0.1.9            MARK set 0x5091
pon sie  9 20:14:54 CEST 2004
azazel mfw # htb stats
### eth0: queueing disciplines

qdisc pfifo_fast 0: [Unknown qdisc, optlen=20]
 Sent 1381711 bytes 4999 pkts (dropped 0, overlimits 0)

### eth1: queueing disciplines

qdisc pfifo_fast 0: [Unknown qdisc, optlen=20]
 Sent 187195 bytes 754 pkts (dropped 0, overlimits 0)

### eth2: queueing disciplines

qdisc htb 1: r2q 10 default 0 direct_packets_stat 5572
 Sent 3931179 bytes 5572 pkts (dropped 0, overlimits 0)

### eth2: traffic classes

class htb 1:1000 root prio 0 rate 80Kbit ceil 80Kbit burst 1701b cburst 1701b
 Sent 0 bytes 0 pkts (dropped 0, overlimits 0)
 lended: 0 borrowed: 0 giants: 0
 tokens: 136159 ctokens: 136159

### eth2: filtering rules

filter parent 1: protocol ip pref 200 fw
filter parent 1: protocol ip pref 200 fw handle 0x5091 classid 1:1000

and I don't know what to do. as you see - packets are marked but htb stats
shows 0 bytes sent.
