Linux Advanced Routing and Traffic Control

I'm interested in DS technology.
I have much theoretical experience with CISCO / Juniper.networks / RFC
on-line documents as good as with linux as router boxes.

I have the following questions:
Do you have any experience in embedding DS into router (not only queing) but
to let packet go other way ? (eg. OSPF Traffic Enginnering) ?

I'm thinking about doing some of that:

  A----D
  | |
  | |
  B----C

Rtr A has full loaded link between Rtr B. Now Rtr A put packets for B via
D,C (every packet is that can't went via direct link).
I want Rtrs do one of that:
- Rtr A dynamiccally change OSPF costs of link to B, so now he see concurent
link (balanced) via RTR D.
- Rtr A put a DS mark onto packets that can't put via that link, so now
router has before (by provider) virtual link created by via Rtr D,C,B, where
is other cost (at the moment there is smaller cost for packets with DS=drop)
so RTR A put packets with DS=drop for B via D,C .

Now, i realized you my problems.

Would you mind in theoretical help, i don't expect much.

At the moment i use Linux_Boxes / ZEBRA/Quagga (OSPF), Some Cisco's , WLAN,
Leased / WAN , LAN .

Best regards
