Hi
I decided to use portforwarding to solv my firewalling and routing.
Setup:
External interface 212.209.211.162
Internal interface 192.168.3.252
I'm using the kernel based portforwarding (administered with ipmasqadm
portfw) because it rewrites the packets just the way I want them.
But when an internal machine tries to connect to the external address on
a forwarded port (say 212.209.211.162:80) nothing happens. But when
connecting from the outside (like from home) it works fine.
Why?
Is there a solution to this so the internal machines can access the same
stuff as outsiders can?
We'll need it to allow DNSes to work correctly (replicating eachother
etc).
