Hello, if I remember correctly, tc uses Kbit=1024bit, Mbit=1024*1024bit. So to get 1.8mbit (1800000bits/s) you would specify 1.716Mbit as argument to tc. Or you can specify rate as 225000bps (this is _bytes_ per second).
