Filter Protocol

Hi all,

A short question. If you specify a protocol with a filter e.g.

#tc filter add dev eth1 parent 1:0 protocol ip tc ...

will this filter match every packet that has the specified protocol (IP) in
one of its headers or only in the outer most header? If I encapsulate the IP
packet with f.e. a TCP or ICMP header, will this filter still match?

thanks,
Jan
