The LSI SCSI emulation in particular has not seen much attention. Windows virtio-blk drivers are available and should be used: http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/WindowsGuestDrivers/Download_Drivers BSD and Solaris don't ship with virtio-blk AFAIK.
