I am now running qemu-kvm 0.11.1: $ kvm -h | head -1 QEMU PC emulator version 0.11.1 (qemu-kvm-0.11.1), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard My Windows 7 guest detected a lot of new hardware, but I still have the same key repeating problem. I think I will just leave this alone for now since I am going to be away from my office (and this machine) for several weeks. When I return, I plan on doing a clean install of everything. If I still have this issue, I will report back.
