I tried an iso of both X86_64 and i386 of debian.
I even burned the iso image to a real cd to try if it would boot (it

It's really a standard cd image i got from 

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/5.0.3/amd64/iso-cd/debian-503-amd64-netinst.iso
