Summary: graphics regressions kvm 86 -> 87 & 88 with option -vga std

Initial Comment:
serious regression in graphics performance coming from version 86 to 87 and 88 when using the -vga std option with the qemu-kvm command. The screen refreshes about twice per second. The refreshing goes so slow i can see the line of change moving from the top of the vm screen to the bottom.
Distribution: arch linux 64bit
kernel: 2.6.30.2
gfx-card: ati radeon hd3450
gfx-driver: the problem occurs with oss driver (radeonhd) as well as catalyst
cpu: intel core 2 duo P8600 2.40GHz
guests: fedora 11 (32bit) & windows xp (32bit)
command: qemu-kvm -hda fedora-machine -m 2G -smp 2 -vga std
when just running without the specific option everything goes as normal
