https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191451 Bug ID: 191451 Summary: Host hangs when hyperv/pvspinlock are disabled Product: Virtualization Version: unspecified Kernel Version: 4.7.3-4.9.0 Hardware: All OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: kvm Assignee: virtualization_kvm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: uzytkownik2@xxxxxxxxx Regression: No Created attachment 249011 --> https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=249011&action=edit Screen photo shot I haven't figured out what exactly causes the problem (I got file corruption and other nasty issues) but if I disable hyperv/pvspinlock I get the host to hang. It might be connected to VFIO.
