[PATCH v2 0/7] KVM Model and CP15 interface

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

With Christoffer having taking most of the groundwork, there are 7
patches left: this is based on ee9643b19b494e06a27132f90e5c5be9ec1d71b7
in his kvm-a15-v10-stage branch.

NOTE: these patches break qemu; you'll need an updated version such as
the msr-ops branch of git://git.linaro.org/people/rusty/qemu-linaro.git

The API changes are:
1) Require an explicit KVM_ARM_VCPU_INIT to tell the kernel what CPU type
the guest has, and a feature bitmap (none defined so far).
2) Coprocessor registers (and later, vfp and vgic) are accessed by a
discoverable interface copied from x86's MSR interface.

Cheers,
Rusty.
