No, this won't bring up the window of a background (system tray)
application that does not have a foreground window. This is what
happens when I try to bring up Skype:
âganymede:~$ xdotool windowactivate 0x4400079
XGetWindowProperty[_NET_WM_DESKTOP] failed (code=1)
âganymede:~$
