Hi, I use Kubuntu Karmic with KDE 4.4 backport packages. When I switch to a new session knetworkmanager (plasma applet) notices that a it already runs in the first session. So it will not start but asks if it should be start next login. Now I have two sessions running, both have working network, only the first have an applet. If I close the first session and switch to the second one (and now only one left) this session has no network and no networkmanager applet. Ususal bashing: Is it kubuntu or is it a bug? ;-) Expected behavior: Both (all) sessions should have a networkmanager applet. Session start and desktop switching sends dbus call to autoconnect. If running active network == autoconnect network -> quit dbus call Bye Thorsten ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
