KMail doesn't know the people in my KAddressbook

Hi all,

I installed KDE 4.4 yesterday, and now I'm in the process of setting 
things up apropriately.

My problem is that KMail doesn't know my contacts that I have in 
KAddressbook.  Those are in an address book "Personal Contacts".  When I 
hit the "Select..." button in KMail's Composer window, the entry 
"Default Address Book" is empty.

How can I debug what's wrong?
