Thanks for pointing out BeSpin for me. at least I know that themable 
transparency is possible (and utilized)

I read though, that BeSpin doesn't have the ARGB enabled by default, but you 
have to compile it with a flag to enable it. (I've always had bad luck 
compiling but I'll at least give it a shot.)
