For me it is
Qt: 4.5.0
KDE: 4.2.66 (KDE 4.2.66 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090310))
kde4-config: 1.0

But that should make any difference in this respect.

True, probably an oversight for kde4-config, KDE3 did (AFAIK) not yet support 
the freedesktop.org autostart spec.

Yes, deprecated in late KDE3 versions and KDE4

You mean that autostart is not listed in types?
I think you can report that directly to KDE, because I am not seeing it the 
SVN trunk version either.

Right, this is one of the directories I get from kde4-config for "autostart".
