Dark side? Are you using Linux as an escape from Window's 'evilness'?That is not the purpose of Linux, that is the purpose of ReactOS.
I am using Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9 and it is by far the smoothest,easiest to install and most stable distro I have ever used. I useFedora also, but the difference between the two is night and day. Forstability, go with Ubuntu or Debian.
