It would be a useful feature for KPager.
OK, so I submit a bug (wishlist) against KPager, isn't it?
The Window List applet and Taskbar could also do something a little
different with a pop-up notification. Flashing isn't possible -- cause
there's nothing relevant to flash.
Why not the same as in gnome? The tab of the application requesting attention is moved into the current virtual desktop, flashing, and once you click on it, you are moved to the desktop where the application requesting attention was.
