A personal comment: As a KDE user I would appreciate such an application since I'm never sure I have managed to copy it all. KMail with contacts settings etc I have never managed to export in one piece. One need also consider non .kde folders. For instance, .gnupg (I think) if I'm using KGpg or .cddb etc. It sure would be helpful if presented a gui with possible applications to export data for and having them in an export file. As I have the other family members on the same PC it would be handy if one could export it all in one file (as a root). A choice to be found under System Admin in the KDE control center ?(Under Windows this is even worse).
