Keep cache in sync means that Konqueror will hit the cache for all objects, downloading them if they are not there, and then display the item from the cache. Use cache whenever possible means that Konqueror will try the cache, and if an object is not there, it will directly download it for display. Offline browsing mode means that Konqueror will try the cache, and if an object is not there, it will not attempt to download it from the Internet." If you can tell the difference between "Keep cache in sync" and "Use cache whenever possible", you are a better psychic than me. It seems to imply that the second option does not cache the items it has to download, but that doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it means that it displays it first, then stores it in the cache, whereas the first option stores it in the cache first and then displays it. How that changes anything is beyond me. -- 73, AC7ZZ http://counter.li.org/ Linux User #246504 ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
