Creating a new user, I am now able to launch Konqueror under the new user name. Logging back in as the original user, and renaming kio_httprc, and kioslaverc as kio_httprc-2, and kioslaverc-2 respectively, I logged out and back in as the original user. Kioslaverc has a new entry, but kio_httprc only shows the renamed one, and I still can't access the Internet with Konqueror as the original user. Any further suggestions, because it seems we're getting somewhere. Nigel. ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
