Hi Lithion. Thanks for proving me wrong, in thinking that the only resort was 
messing with defaults in Kmail config. I will try this out next time I'm 
logged into my "pay by the minute" ISP, but am sure it will work. 

So much to learn, and such a short time to learn it in. Nigel.
