Well, maybe this is the right place for a trash can > ;-) In previous versions of KDE, the trash can is a folder located in ~/Desktop. You can move it using Konqueror wherever you want inside your home folder (for example, into this same folder), and then change its location in Control Center->System Administration->Pahts.
