Can I use lprng or any BSD style printing daemon that works well with KDE interface?
So, I don't know of any reason that LPRng wouldn't work if you have it set up so that it will work with non-KDE applications or from the command line with the command: "lp". I wouldn't expect to be able to set it up with the KDEPrinter dialog.
