Hi,
after mounting a new motherboard with a SIS SS7012 sound chip, recompiling the
kernel (linux) and configuring sound with YaST, the YaST sound modul test
works well and kaboodle plays .wav files. But those .ogg files in "system
sounds" of KDE controll center don't work. On starting KAMix/gamix a (german)
message appears saying "Direct access to sound card impossible"! What's going
on there?
Any suggestions?
