Obvioulsy kfontinst in the KDE 3.2.0 SuSE RPM package overwrote the file
/usr/share/ghostscript/7.05/lib/Fontmap. The original contained some
include statements, the overwritten version is empty.
After reinstalling Ghostscript this worked again.
Yes, that is a known bug. I hope that it is fixed in 3.2.2, but I haven't
tested it yet.
