I woudl like these specialized taskbars could be placed on the desktop and in the Konqueror horizontal bar as well.Exactly what is the "Konqueror horizontal bar"? Somebody (me) suggested that Konqueror have another toolbar (default would be empty) so that it was more configurable. As I understand this, you would like that but also want to be able to do your own customizable tags for this so that it would have different contents depending on the KPart currently being used in Konqueror.
If you don't want for it to say: Konqueror, then use the command:
I would like to customize string that Konqueror passes to the window manager, to assign a more descriptive title to the window and to its relevant icon. In particular, i would like to see the plain directory name, as Konqueror is displaying contents, without its path and without the ending '- Konqueror' (that coud be replaced by a small logo)

It appears that using the whole path is hard coded -- using: %n (or is that %%n) doesn't appear to work. Since this does not correspond to the spec, this is a bug.
Replacing it with a logo isn't going to work -- that is a text field.
