trouble logging-in with kopete

Fedora Core 1


I sign-in with my AIM account and each buddy's online status is
updated.  But Kopete immediately goes offline and all of my buddies go
offline.  I retry signing-on but same thing.  Kopete immediately goes
offline.  Any pointers?
