i can't tell you what gui to use, but if you open a konsole and run "passwd" 
as the user who's password you want to change, you can do it all there.

if however you want to change the password of a different user as the one 
you're using, you'll have to su to root and change the password from there:

as the changing user:

  $ passwd

as root, changing other users's passwords:

  # passwd <username>
