Problem configuring my mouse

Hello,

I can't change the buttons of my mouse from "right handed" to "left handed". 
It's all greyed so I can't check anything. Which is the file in which I can 
find these settings ? Perhaps it's corrupted ? It's a new install of Kde 3.2 
with a new Mandrake 10.
