Running mandrake 9.2 and KDE 3.0
Loaded Abiword from original discs (it asked for #7)
Lost control of desktop eg home icon froze, icon to directories responded with text options rather than icons to applications
Rebooted. Still home icon would not work.
Removed Abiword. Returned to normal.
When I loaded Abiword, accepted whatever Mdk offered
All suggestions appreciated
