Re: Socks configuration

Ryujin,

I'm having similar problems. I'm using socks 4 and I've verified that my
setup is working properly (works fine under Gnome, etc...). I've got KDE to
detect my socks library (Debian package: libsocksd), but I'm having
absolutely no success getting any KDE app to use it.

I did a lot of searching to see if others were having similar problems, but I
only found one or two other emails, and no one seemed to have gotten back to
any of them. I couldn't find any documented cases of anyone actually getting
it working, so eventually I gave up.

If anyone out there has ever made it work, I'd love to hear what steps you
went through.

Best of luck,
Topher Cyll
