scripts for konqueror

I would like to send input to konq from a script or input file so that 
it will select an item from a drop down menu, select 'go' and once the 
page has down loaded(how would I know?) save it to a disk file and 
email it.
I do not know where to look to find information so I can do this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
