You really need to think more about the order and integrity of your patches. Keep in mind that each patch on its own should be applicable without breaking anything.

This change here won't work without the changes in the follow up patches.

So patches #3 and #4 should come first, because they are stand alone cleanups which can be pushed immediately after review.
