That part should be a separate patch. As is there is no mention of this

We need to address the ddb overlap bug here. I think we can avoid it
by simply making sure none of the synced pipes has an overlap with
anything else. Since we do this only for modesets that should be fine
and I don't think we can end up in a dead end.
